Post for Winfield Youth Softball
Carroll County requires background checks for all Board Members, Managers, and Coaches involved in youth sports who are 18 and over. You must have this in order to hold these positions in a Winfield Recreation Council program.
Once you register for a background check, email or mail a picture to the county so they can make your ID Badge. The badge is good for one (1) year from the date of issue. Below are the procedures to follow to obtain the required background check. The County is utilizing SSCI Background Screening Solutions. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) will not be shared, stored or maintained by the Department of Recreation and Parks. To initiate your background check, go to Carroll County’s custom application online submitting portal:
You must have a badge before practices start. All programs must be in compliance with CCRP background check policy.
Once the check has been initiated, please forward a picture (PNG or JPG, not PDF) with name, position, group (example Winfield Youth Football & Cheer program, etc.) and council (Winfield Rec Council) in the body of the email to email@example.com. Please note in the subject line Winfield Rec Background ID Picture. This will allow the county to create your photo volunteer ID.

To renew your badge each year, please use the same link. You do not need to submit a new picture.
